WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMEN?
I just read the graphic novel “Watchmen” and i can’t recommend it enough to anyone, it doesn’t matter if your not a nerd!
If your first reaction to that statement is “Reading!? Blah! Neverz!”, then don’t worry, because it is coming to the big screen next year. There are parts of the book that i honestly don’t think will make it into the movie though, such as news clippings and articles from books mentioned in the story.
After watching the trailer for the new film though, i did notice one obvious change, which i actually do not like at all. A main character in the story named Rorschach says towards the beginning of the book “One of us died tonight”, where as in the trailer “One of the Watchmen died tonight”. Without spoiling the book for anyone, i feel this is wrong, because the word “watchmen” is only used once and isn’t in a direct link to anyone directly. I feel like this has been done to make the film more accessible to the audience, but i just hope that is the only thing they change!
I’m ranting now, but to cut a long story short (or blog entry for you geezors out there), get your poo-pipe online and order the book now. Tis amazing dawgggg!!!

After a late night aimlessly doodling, i noticed one of my facebook friend status messages, which read “I want the moon on a stick!”. Inspired by the weirdness of it, i created this piece!

MATHEMATICAL WORMS
A friend asked me to help her with a project she was having to do for her teaching class. It was a banner for mathematical worm diagrams, which are basically patterns that are created though maths equations… google it and you will get it!
I personally like how the worms interact with eachother or not so in the case of the geeky worm at the end, all on his own bless!

HELIPIC
A little preview to a much much bigger project. Working with my friend Heli from Finland, we are creating a giant illustration together. This will be my first collaboration and i am really excited!
Heli has done all the drawing and i am handling all the colouring in, it’s like being back at school!
She has a really playful and exciting style and i decided that i needed to do a colour schene that fitted that. Did i mention that i am excited!
